Bespoke Routes

If there is a specific route (such as a race or an ultra recce) you would like me to lead you on, I am more than happy to accommodate this. Additionally, if there is a particular location or feature that you are interested in exploring, such as the many World War II plane wrecks in the Peak District, tackling Striding Edge in the Lakes or taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks; I can plan a route accordingly to provide you with a personalised experience, tailored to your interests and preferences.

Rates will depend on location of the route and approximate time it’s expected to take.

Navigation Training

I’m also able to give beginners navigation/map and compass training for those interested. I limit the groups to a maximum of 4 people and it can cover all the essentials from orienting the map, compass bearings, grid references and matching visible features to details on the map and more.

Locating one of many plane wrecks on the Kinder Scout plateau by map and compass.

Leaving the paths to navigate across peat hags.
